Managing Director, Boss Management Growing up on a 100 acre farm in Yellow Point, Vancouver Island this feisty wild child could be found riding horses bare back, bridal free, performing dare devil stunts on dirt bikes and flying by the seat of her pants at any given moment…all which have served Sonya well as preparation for her career in the entertainment industry.
Stilettos on, Sonya hit the catwalk at full stride as a teen in 1984 and hasn’t stopped moving since. Whether in front of the camera, modeling, doing print, runway shows, music videos, TV commercials or film she has over 25 years experience in every facet of the industry.
During her 10 year modeling stint Sonya frequented Vancouver, New York, Toronto, the US and Europe. Since hanging up her stilettos Sonya opened her own modeling agency in Vancouver. 100 beautiful and talented models were discovered by her across BC. She quickly guided and groomed her new roster for success. Her hand picked models were constantly booked in international and locally filmed TV, film, commercials and movies.
After conquering the modeling agency world Sonya decided to expand her business into representing talent for film and TV, therein BOSS MANAGEMENT INC. was born in 2000.
Her 100 gorgeous faces were quickly devoured by casting agencies hungry for new and beautiful talent in TV and features shooting in the Vancouver area. Now in its’ 10th year, BOSS MANAGEMENT INC. has steadily grown into Vancouver’s top agency for background performers and principal actors.
With Sonya at the helm the future is looking bright as BOSS MANAGEMENT INC. will be opening two new locations in Toronto and Calgary in 2010.
